Let’s talk wine bars shall we?
One of my most favourite pastimes, is searching for and enjoying wine bars in all the cities I travel to. So, when you are in Vancouver (my hometown), where do you go for a plethora of wines by the glass and bottle? (I know it’s cheeky, but 3 wines by the glass is not really a ‘plethora’)… so, you go to Provence Marinaside to TWB – The Wine Bar.
Mic drop.

I mean seriously… they have an enomatic machine with 40+ Wines by the glass to try PLUS the 20 Sparkling Wines by the glass PLUS the 2 Champagnes by the glass PLUS 3 cocktails on tap, and ALL the other white, rosé and reds by the glass and bottle.
In total, you can choose over 125 wines by the glass or an impressive bottle menu representing local BC wines and International beauties.
If you have trouble deciding what to enjoy, just ask the friendly and very knowledgeable staff!

And, as we are ALL doing more happy hours these days, quite honestly… their happy hour rocks too!
Their Provençal menu is really delicious and everything pairs perfectly with their wine list! From freshly shucked oysters to truffled popcorn, there is a snack for every craving.

It’s been a fantastic destination for years, and it continues to shine as one of the Best wine bars in the city. It’s also one of the few restaurants with a view facing south over the water, which can be enjoyed all year, but especially from April/May to September when the weather is warmer.

So, if you live in Vancouver, get your cute little buns to Yaletown to enjoy this special place. If you are visiting Vancouver, add this fantastic Wine Bar & Restaurant to your list. Grab a table inside or out on the patio, get a glass or heck.. meet friends and share a bottle around the fireplace, sit back, and enjoy the view overlooking the Marina.
They also boast one of the biggest wine lists around. And just so you know… Feb.22 they celebrated their 22nd anniversary, that alone is worth celebrating all week, all month or even all year, if you need a reason ![]()

Until next time, keep exploring wines and restaurants locally and around the world.
And I hope to see you at The Vancouver Wine Festival next week!
