A review of wines I tasted this past week

IMG_4182Xanadu Chardonnay – Australia

A delightful find from Margaret River, Australia. There is a bit of creaminess but there is some brightness too, citrusy, herbaceous and a nice balance of acid. It will surprise you! Found at Liberty Merchants for $19.

Stags Leap Petite Syrah – California

Pretty on the nose at first then there’s chocolate, cigar, tobacco… The layers began to appear a couple sips in! Love a complex wine.

Le Vieux Pin Petit Blanc – BC, Canada

This blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Viognier is refreshing and juicy with stone fruits, perfect for a warm August evening! $17 at BC Liquor Stores.
